It’s been a busy few weeks here at Pretty Ugly HQ, we’ve got lots of news to tell you…
If you missed it, our Valentines special last month was a top night. Our Special Guest DJs for the evening were Aidan Moffat & Noj and they went down a storm with their heartbreaking hits, playing everything from Boys Boys Boys to Every Heartbeat – you are welcome back any time lads. We then wrapped up the evening with some air horns and rave classics (because only love can set you free) finishing up with some Fade To Grey – RIP Steve Strange.
We are back on Saturday 14 March from 11pm – 3am, Downstairs at The Admiral Bar for Pretty Ugly Presents: Dirty Cash. Come and shake your moneymakers with us – we’ve got the brains, you’ve got the looks, let’s make lots of madness.
We’ll have all the usual PU fun and nonsense while also hosting the official afterparty for Abandon Ship Apparel’s 4th Birthday. Plus we’re DJing at the ASA party at Flying Duck from 7.30pm-10.30pm and are helping them to plan lots of fun things for their shindig – there will be free t-shirts, drinks and cake a go-go. Its free entry so pop along for some Pre-PUgly action.
We’re FINALLY on Instagram, having previously ditched it due to it being more addictive than crack, we’ve given in and are now horribly addicted yet again. Come and follow us or tag us in your pretty pics from the club.
Our diaries have been packed full of lots of other DJ gigs of late including the T in the Park launch party at Drygate, a post screening party at Citizen M hotel for Glasgow Film Festival and King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut’s 25th Birthday. You’d think we’d have pickled our livers at all of these but no, we’ve still been out on the town more than we should because Glasgow is just so bloody brilliant isn’t it? We had a fab time at Gin Club, went to loads of gigs by the likes of Kloe and Years & Years, and will be wheel spinning at tonight’s Magic Nostalgic. If your social calendars are also filling up, here are the next Pretty Ugly’s at The Admiral Bar for your diaries – hope to see you lovelies there sometime soon – mwah!
